Thank you all for the great time we had on this Cornwall workshop. I know, the weather wasn’t like it had been the two previous years and we didn’t have the chance to get a suntan, however, we did manage to learn a lot of new things and make some lovely images.

It’s the first time I have ever been on anything like this and I really enjoyed it; I met some really lovely people who helped me along the way, with their knowledge, inspiration and patience. Thank you Dimitri for giving me an insight of what can be achieved, I hope one day we may all meet up again.

We didn’t have the best weather this week, but Dimitri knows his locations and we still had a great time. Well organised, friendly accommodation and lots of excellent tutoring at some superb locations. Highly recommended!

The Inverpolly & Assynt in Feb 2012 photo workshop with Inspiring Photography was a success and this comes down to all participants, what a superb group of people. I hope to see you all again soon (although some already have booked for future workshops). You all made some superb images and your company was next to none, especially around the dinner table.

I have just returned from a Landscape photography course in Assynt in the far North West of Scotland with a company called “Inspiring Photography”. I thought I knew a thing or two about this genre but apparently less than I thought!

I should like to add my thanks for your help throughout the trip and for your infinite patience. You have the ability to de-mystify the technicalities and to make them understandable, especially when it comes to taking advantage of all that “Live View” has to offer.

Dear Dimitri. I find that you are very patient and helpful and constantly motivate the group. I have already booked another course with you in a few months, to Skye and am greatly looking forward to it. Please sort the weather for this one! In the meantime I will brave the elements this winter and get out there to practice!

Hi Dimitri. Just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you for the recent course in the Lake District. On the first night I thought that I was going to be completely out of my depth (and probably was!!) but learnt so much the whole week, got some fabulous photographs and had a really good time the whole week!

Hi Dimitri. Just dropping you a line to thank you for another great time. Even though the weather ( not your fault ) was not so good, I got some good pictures ( some are on flickr site) and learnt a few new tricks.

The Santorini in June 2011 tour with Inspiring Photography was extremely successful, everyone was happy, I was happy. I am not surprised at all that the 2012 tour has already only 1 place available. Santorini has become a popular destination with photographers as people waking to the potential the island holds for them.

We had fun, a joke and laughter was never far away . Dimitri smiling and in good mood from early morning (after the first cup of coffee, even more) and to late evening. He is just fantastic. He saw everyone, explaining, helping, motivating, give from himself tips and tricks and how to do etc etc. He is simply born to do this.

Hi Dimitri. Thank you for a wonderful week on Santorini. Great photo locations, lovely company and superb food. I learned more about photography in one week than in the previous five years. I hope to come on another photo tour,in the near future.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 days and have learnt a great deal. All I have to do now is put into practice what I have learnt. Your enthusiasm for photography has given me a fresh look at how to approach the subject from a more artistic point of view-not just to snap what I see. Stand, think, walk around and be more critical.

Your workshop was an eye opener to me and I am very pleased with some of my efforts, I will certainly view subjects with a different approach from now on. I will be using live view more often. Many thanks for your patience and advice, I look forward to coming on another of your workshops. Have enclosed a picture that you will remember me setting up.

Thank you for the photo course at the lakes. Despite the bad weather, I went home with new knowledge. Must admit that I now have great respect for landscape photographers. It is far from as easy as I thought. Have been so caught up in my wildlife photography and the challenge of moving objects.

Dimitri, this was the best workshop I have ever been on. Your kindness and patience shone through and you made time for each of us and all our questions.

The Inspiring Photography Glencoe workshop was by far the most informative and most rewarding workshop I have been on.
