It is amazing how many tricks the weather can play. On that morning, and although the weather forecast was for cloudy sky, we made the decision to head out for an early shoot anyway.
At this point I was talking with one of my workshop clients about the composition, which was very similar to the one I was going for. My tripod was right next to my client's. All of a sudden, and as I was looking at the camera's rear screen, I noticed that the sky was getting ablaze with colour. You definitely don't witness such phenomena every day.
Our assumption was that there must have been a small gap in the clouds which allowed for the sun to burst through and hit the higher clouds from below, creating this outstanding view.
