Dear Dimitri
Thanks for the Glencoe experience. The weather is not within your control and of course, it was pretty ghastly, so much so, that a couple of the days had to be spent inside.
However, thinking back on the experience, it was still a great photography week. You used our indoor time to good effect, giving us tutorials on Lightroom, answering any questions the group had on any aspects of photography, advising on equipment and giving honest and constructive criticism on photos that we had brought to the course to show you.
And, of course, we did have two days in the great outdoors. It is surprising, looking back, on how much we all learnt from you in that time , from practicalities in focusing to the intangible things we need to be able to visualise in order to find a good subject to photograph. You emphasised time and time again, the need to slow down and to look around you!
I find that you are very patient and helpful and constantly motivate the group. I have already booked another course with you in a few months, to Skye and am greatly looking forward to it. Please sort the weather for this one! In the meantime I will brave the elements this winter and get out there to practice!
