December 2010 and a good sprinkle of snow had covered the ground. Some of the water on river Coupall was frozen and some of it slowly flowing. The details of snow and hoar frost on the rocks were looking superb; that tiny bush was barely making it through the winter.
My only concern was the fluffy yet fast moving clouds. I had to improvise and do something as I don't like such skies. A 10 stop neutral density filter was employed in order to slow down the shutter speed and create vapour trails lookalike out of the clouds. The effect of the final image looks much more interesting than the original image would, in my opinion.
