This bay had been my nemesis for a long time, however, persistence always pays off. The only way to capture these sand patterns and rock pools is to be there during extremely low tide, and of course, be lucky enough to witness a beautiful sunset.
The problem is that you might eventually get lucky and have both, but if it is windy (west wind), you have lost the battle. Wind picks up sea spray and paints your lens/filters with a lovely speckled design.
This time I finally got lucky and every element was on my side. It is a great feeling when everything falls into place and your persistence is rewarded.
