Roussanou monastery is not the best know monastery in Meteora but it definitely is the most photogenic of them all. Built on a single rock and with views to die for, as well as having the distant rock formations as a background, it is very easy to see what I am talking about.

I stayed in Meteora for only 3 nights, I wish I had stayed longer, what an extraordinary experience. I am going back in October 2014 again though.
